guidelines
/ the fine printninefold is a work of fiction. this project draws heavily from biblical mythology, dante's inferno, paradise lost, folklore, and other religious and literary works. these texts serve as inspiration for the worldbuilding, characters, and stories told throughout this blog. the interpretations presented here are entirely fictional and should not be taken as reflections of my personal beliefs or religious views.
because of its subject matter, this blog explores religious horror, reinterpretations of biblical figures, blasphemous themes, damnation, morality, and the supernatural. if these themes make you uncomfortable, i completely understand and gently encourage you not to follow. i want everyone to have an online experience that feels enjoyable and comfortable for them.
this is an independent, selective, mutuals-only, novella-friendly multi-muse blog centered around my original work in progress, ninefold. the world is heavily inspired by biblical mythology, dante's inferno, paradise lost, folklore, vintage horror, and gothic fiction. every muse exists within the same shared universe, though each has their own story to tell.
this site exists primarily as an archive for my mutuals: a place to explore character biographies, worldbuilding, timelines, and the lore behind the universe we're writing in. while anyone is welcome to browse, writing interaction is reserved for mutuals.
writing and plotting are my favorite parts of roleplay. whether it's romance, rivalries, found family, mentorships, enemies, or strange supernatural alliances, i'm almost always happy to build something together. some characters naturally lend themselves to spontaneous interactions, while others benefit from plotting beforehand.
original characters are genuinely one of my favorite parts of this community, and they're always welcome here. the same goes for female and nonbinary muses. i love discovering new interpretations, unique worlds, and dynamics that don't exist anywhere else.
if we're mutuals, you're always welcome to ask for my discord (@pilipalea). i'm far more likely to yell about character dynamics there than i am in tumblr messages.
outside of roleplay, i balance work alongside several creative projects, so my activity naturally shifts throughout the week. sometimes replies happen quickly, and sometimes they take a little while.
please never feel pressured to match my pace. writing is a hobby, and i'd like to keep it that way.
i typically write using small text, bolding, and italics.
if those formatting choices are difficult to read or tumblr's editor isn't accessible for you, please let me know. i'm more than happy to adjust my formatting or move threads over to google docs so we're both comfortable writing together.
accessibility will always matter more to me than aesthetics.
this blog contains mature themes including, but not limited to: violence • horror • religious themes • blasphemy • psychological horror • body horror • gore • murder • death • occultism • damnation • sexual themes
for my own comfort, i will only write with writers and muses who are 21 years of age or older.
i do not tolerate racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, or any other form of discrimination. likewise, i will not write or support content that romanticizes incest, pedophilia, or abuse.
free palestine.
i don't keep a public dni list. there are simply people within the community i choose not to interact with, just as i'm sure there are people who choose not to interact with me. my boundaries aren't public discussion topics, and i ask that they're respected.
if you've been softblocked, it's almost always because of overlapping circles or for my own comfort. i have no interest in discussing old situations, gossip, or community drama.
similarly, i periodically clean out my discord and social media. if we've drifted apart, please don't take it personally. mutuals are always welcome to reach out again if they'd like to reconnect.
i also generally softblock rather than unfollow. if you notice i've only unfollowed you, there's a good chance tumblr had other plans and i simply haven't noticed yet.
every muse on this blog matters to me. some have years of development behind them, while others are still finding their place within ninefold, but each of them is equally important to the stories i want to tell.
one thing i value deeply is enthusiasm for the entire cast. if someone's interest consistently begins and ends with my male characters while repeatedly overlooking my women and nonbinary muses, i'll usually choose to quietly step away. i want to build stories with people who are excited about the world as a whole, not just one corner of it.
PSA
i'm keeping this blog focused on creativity, collaboration, and writing with people i enjoy creating alongside. i won't be engaging with anonymous drama, vague posts, callout culture, or community speculation. if someone has something they'd like to discuss with me, they're welcome to approach me directly.
my blocks, softblocks, and boundaries are simply that: boundaries. they're not invitations for interpretation, gossip, or debate.
thank you for respecting them, and thank you for taking the time to read through all of this. i genuinely look forward to writing together.
